Museum of Asian Art

The Asian Art Museum of Corfu is housed in the palace of Saint Michael and George and it’s the only museum in Greece devoted to the art of Asia. In this museum you can find various artifacts such as masks and weapons from China, Japan, Pakistan, Korea, India, Siam and Nepal, as well as several paintings, furniture, relics and portraits of the Ionian Congress.

The Byzantine museum of Antivouniotissa is located in Corfu’s town old fortress in a beautiful church established in 1984. The museum holds religious artefacts such as Christian sculptures, parts of Byzantine frescoes and a collection of icons from famous artists from the 11th to 18th century.
